   Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold 4.00-5.00 lower on a very
light test. Demand was light. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold
primarily to the ethnic market and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold
4.00-5.00 lower with moderate demand. Not enough Slaughter Holstein steers
for a market test. Slaughter heifers not tested. Slaughter cows sold mostly
steady. Slaughter bulls sold 3.00-4.00 lower. Demand was moderate. Cattle
supplies included 153 slaughter steers; 122 heifers; 230 cows; 91 bulls and
189 feeder cattle. All prices quoted per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1500-1600 lbs 114.50-115.50.
Choice 2-3  1200-1600 lbs 111.00-112.00. Select 1-2  1300-1600 lbs 105.00-
109.00. High Dressing Lean Steers 105.00-129.00.

   Slaughter Holstein Steers: Not tested.

120.00-135.00. Number 2  95-115 lbs 110.00-125.00; 75-95 lbs 90.00-120.00.
