Livestock Weighted Average Report for 8/10/2026 - Final AUCTION This Week Last Reported 8/3/2026 Last Year Total Receipts: 3,274 3,140 3,297 Slaughter Sheep/Lambs: 1,685(51.5%) 1,764(56.2%) 1,652(50.1%) Slaughter Goats: 1,589(48.5%) 1,376(43.8%) 1,645(49.9%) Compared to last week, wooled and shorn slaughter lambs sold strong. Hair breed slaughter lambs sold strong. Ewes sold unevenly steady. Hair ewes sold weak. Bucks sold strong. Hair bucks sold steady. Buyer demand was moderate on a moderate supply for the slaughter sheep sale. Slaughter kid goats sold weak. Nannies/does 80 to 100lbs sold steady; nannies/does 100 to 150lbs sold weak. Bucks/billies sold weak, overall. No comparison on wethers. Buyer demand was moderate on a moderate to heavy supply for the slaughter goat sale. Supply included: 51% Slaughter Sheep/Lambs (35% Wooled & Shorn, 49% Hair Breeds, 8% Ewes, 8% Hair Ewes, 1% Bucks, 0% Hair Bucks); 49% Slaughter Goats (58% Kids, 26% Nannies/Does, 9% Bucks/Billies, 7% Wethers).
